Who We Are
The firm of Don W. Ledbetter, PLLC has been practicing law in Texas for over 30 years. We have experience in both residential and commercial real estate transactions. Our firm is primarily engaged in the production/review of real estate legal documents for both residential and construction loans. With our experienced staff we provide the service needed for our clients to succeed.

A Seamless Process
We pride ourselves on our attention to customer service and accuracy. We strive to adjust our process to fit the needs of our clients. We try to make doing business with us a seamless process for everyone. We work to keep the process as simple as possible to avoid any lag time in getting the documents you need us. We are sensitive to the fact that by the time a loan gets to closing, everyone’s pushing to get it closed quickly.
We can provide you with document preparation, document review and construction loan documents as well as some commercial document packages. When doing our document preparation or review, we always review the title commitment and survey to make sure you are protected. We prepare/review purchases, refinances, purchase plus improvements, one time close, commercial lines of credits, etc.
Our Team
Kathey McDaniel
Kathey McDaniel joined the firm in 1989 after working at a few mortgage companies. Kathey grew her knowledge of the mortgage business by working in several different positions of the loan process which benefits her today in being able to understand what lenders go through. Kathey provides customer support with general and legal questions. She also prepares and review mortgage loans that come through our office. Kathey lives in the country and takes care of the acreage she has, enjoys time with her kids and grandkids, and just accomplishing things on her own that she didn’t think she could. Kathey is NOT an attorney.
John “Chris" Roberts
John "Chris" Roberts joined the firm in 1999. Chris came to the firm after spending several years in the title industry. His training and background are also in real estate law. Chris graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in ’92 with a B.A. in Political Science. Then he went to the University of Tulsa College of Law in ’96 where he received is law degree. Chris has a wife, 2 children and 3 dogs. They live in Allen, Texas.
Kirsten Green
Kirsten Green graduated from Baylor University in 2012 with a B.S. in Biology and earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2015. Since then, Kirsten has specialized in real estate law, bringing nearly a decade of expertise in drafting closing documents for title companies, handling curative title work for inherited property, and ensuring smooth and secure transactions for both residential and commercial properties.
Hannah Green
Hannah Green is a dedicated attorney with a strong academic background and a deep-rooted connection to the real estate industry. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, with a minor in legal studies, from Dallas Baptist University, and went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of North Texas College of Law. Having grown up in a family immersed in real estate for five generations, Hannah brings fresh insights and a passionate commitment to her practice in real estate law.
Pete Ramirez
Pete Ramirez has been with the firm since 1998. He helps provide our clients and is one of our document specialists. He reviews lenders documents, along with title commitments and surveys as well as provide customer support when our clients need it on their residential loans. Pete is married with one child and 2 grandchildren and lives in Little Elm. He and is wife enjoy family time, game nights and outdoor activities. Pete is NOT an attorney
Michelle Fults
Michelle Fults started with the firm back in 1998 as well and then took some time off to raise her children in 2005. She then rejoined the firm in February 2020. Michelle provides the same support as Pete does. Michelle is married with two children and one dog. She enjoys spending time with her family, doing puzzles and playing games. Michelle is NOT an attorney.
Robyn Goerdt
Robyn Goerdt joined our firm in 2024. She comes to us with 5 years of title experience and 15 years as a certified signing agent for mortgage loan signings. She will be involved with the same services that Pete and Michelle provide. Robyn is married and has four children, 3 grandchildren and loves photography and family time. Robyn is NOT an attorney.
Donna Owens
Donna Owens joined the firm in 2024. She brings 20 years of mortgage closing experience. She will be providing the same services that Gretchen provides. She is married with one daughter and six dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, going to the movies, reading, and keeping up with her teenager.
